12 test positive for COVID-19 in Mizoram

GUWAHATI: Mizoram is no longer COVID-free now as 12 persons – 11 females and one male –have tested for COVID-19 positive in the state.

Eleven of them are from Kolasib quarantine centre while one is an inpatient at Zoram Medical College. All of them are now admitted to designated COVID-19 hospital, Zoram Medical College.

All the patients are in the age group of 18-40 years. Ten of them had returned from Delhi while two returned from Kolkata.
