Pat for vigilant Dorbar Shnong

SHILLONG: The Synjuk ki Nongsynshar Shnong ka Bri U Hynniewtrep has lauded the traditional heads of Jaintia Hills for being alert to the arrival of a COVID-19 positive patient at Khliehriat.
In a statement issued here, the general secretary of the Synjuk, RL Blah, said that the dorbar shnong had received information that a Branch Manager, SBI was on his way to the district from Assam violating government’s protocols.
“It was based on the information provided by the dorbar shnong to the health authorities that the SBI official was asked to be tested and he was found to be positive,” he said.
Blah has urged all the traditional heads across Khasi and Jaintia Hills to be vigilant with regard to the entry of people to the localities/villages.
