Shillong: Five person were injured in two separate accidents at Quinine, Ri Bhoi district and Laitkor.
A Sumo on its way to Cherrapunjee from Guwahati collided with another Sumo on its way to Nongpoh from Shillong injuring Tapon Jana (48), Mita Khan Bhaduri (31), Dolly Jana (39) and Reena Nag (47) and they were rush to Nongpoh Civil Hospital
In another accident, one Pynsuklang Khongwir (25) sustained injuries after his motorbike was hit by a truck at Laitkor on Sunday night. He was later shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
