London: Actor Nicolas Cage’s son, Weston, has been taken to hospital for a mental evaluation after an alleged altercation with his fitness trainer.

Weston reportedly lost his cool when the trainer told him he couldn’t order something off the menu at Hollywood eatery and onlookers claim he “freaked out”.

Police arrived at the restaurant and they were so worried about his behaviour that they strapped the 20-year-old rock musician to a gurney before transporting him to Cedars-Sinai medical center.

He is now subjected to a 5150 psychiatric hold, which allows a qualified officer or clinician to involuntarily confine a person deemed to have a mental disorder that makes them a danger to himself or others. (IANS)
