BSF takes on BGB in volleyball friendly

Shillong: As part of confidence building measures, a friendly volleyball match was organised here on Friday between Border Security Force (BSF) and Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB).

The match was held near Omkhewa border post in Meghalaya’s East Khasi Hills district, an official statement said.

The BGB team was accompanied by two commanding officers and three staff officers, while the BSF team was led by S K Srivastava, the commanding officer of 56 battalion. About 600 locals from both the countries saw the match that was won by BSF.
