Shops damaged

Shillong: Four shops were damaged when a coal-laden truck (ML-10A 4898) on its way to Beltola from Jaintia Hills hit them at Jingkieng Nongthymmai on Friday. The four shops belong to B Lyngdoh, MS Safique, M Kurbah and E Nongrum and according to them the loss amounts to Rs 4 lakh.
