Thomas Sangma on foreign tour

NEW DELHI: Rajya Sabha MP Thomas Sangma on Sunday left for Sweden and Denmark along with an eight-member delegation led by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar on a goodwill official visit to these countries. Thomas is the lone MP from the North-East in the delegation. They will call on King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and have meetings with the Speaker and senior cabinet ministers. In Denmark, the delegation will be received by President of Danish Parliament and the Queen of Denmark at Amalienborg Palace.
