Awareness campaign
The office of the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities in collaboration with the Meghalaya Co-Operative Apex Bank Ltd organised an awareness campaign on National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation scheme on Monday at the Social Mobilisation Experimentation and Learning Centre, Tura.

SN Sinha, president, Indian Journalist Union India along with Geethartha Pathak, president, Journalist Union of Assam and BB Lahakar, Secretary, Journalist Union of Assam, held meeting with the journalists of Shillong on Monday, at Shillong Press Club. David O Laitphlang, President, Shillong Press Club and member of Shillong Press Club were also present. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss on the problems faced by the journalists in the country.
Felicitation
The first three position holders in the SSLC examination (MBoSE) namely Markynti L Nonglait, Freddie Lamin and Anubhav Das were felicitated with the Sailabala Rotary Award by the Rotary Club of Shillong on Friday.
