Paul Lyngdoh lauds prompt fire service

Chairman of the Meghalaya Infrastructure Development Committee, Paul Lyngdoh has expressed his gratitude to the Meghalaya Police and Meghalaya Fire and Emergency services for their rapid and efficient services rendered on Monday night at GS Road wherein a major catastrophe was averted when a LPG tanker burst into flames.

He however, has urged the State Home Minister, HDR Lyngdoh to adopt steps to ensure that accidents like these do not reoccur in the future by putting stringent laws for the Oil and Gas carriers as they tend to over speed.
