Delhi House PAC team in city By Our Reporter

SHILLONG: With an aim to study the parliamentary practices being followed in different state assemblies of the country, a seven-member team of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Delhi Legislative Assembly arrived here on Thursday

The seven-member team, led by its chairman Sahab Singh Chauhan (BJP), includes Veer Singh Dhingan, Suresh Shokeen, Jaswant Singh, Nand Kishore, Jai Bhagwan Agarwal and Shyam Lal Garg.

The delegation met the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly speaker Charles Pyngrope.

In a memorandum submitted here on Thursday, the KSU general secretary Hamlet Dohling said, “this appointment is done violating the recruitment policy of the State government.”

According to KSU, the recruitment should have been routed through the government agency like MPSC or DSC.
