SHILLONG: Governor RS Mooshahary will formally release the financial statement and activity report of Independent MLA Manas Chaudhuri here on June 25. The report will cover the first half of the current term of the Assembly in respect of 21- Mawprem constituency.
Chaudhuri is the first MLA so far in the Assembly to furnish detailed report on the funds received and their appropriation.
Governor will also felicitate meritorious students, launch a mortuary van and assist BPL women with sewing machines- all funded by the local MLA.
