NONGSTOIN: The villagers of Aradonga on Saturday sought immediate transfer of the Officer In-charge of Aradonga Police Outpost HK Das. A local villager, SR Marak, informed that Das did not maintain cordial relations with the locals and since the transfer of the earlier officer, Korno Sangma, incidents of crime have risen in the area. The villagers also demanded for an officer belonging to the local community to bridge the language barrier.
