London: England’s one-day captain Alastair Cook insists that he is not after the Test captaincy. Cook denied reports that he was taking his ODI captaincy as an audition for the Test captaincy. “I feel honoured to captain England’s One-day side. It’s certainly not an audition, as it’s a job on its own. Andy Flower and Andrew Strauss are our two big leaders and Stuart Broad and I are very fortunate to have two experienced guys and two successful guys leading us,” Cook was quoted as saying by The Daily Mail. “They make decisions on the direction of Team England, and Stuart and I are responsible for our own individual aspects of it. With the amount of cricket we play and energy needed to give to all formats, it works well with a fresh guy coming in for short periods,” he added. (IANS)
