The State Deputy Secretary, Finance (Pension Cell) and Member-Coordinator, Pension Adalat has informed that for settlement of pending pension cases of retired employees of various departments and offices of the state government, the pension adalat will be held on July 28 and 29 at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Williamnagar and at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Tura on August 1-3.

Meeting

A meeting to discuss the 13th Finance Commission will be held on June 30 at the Conference Room, Main Secretariat from 9.30 onwards. The meeting will be attended by Law/Home Secretaries and Finance Secretaries of North Eastern States including Sikkim, Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court, Registrar General of Gauhati High Court and Registrars of respective Benches of Gauhati High Court.

Health camp

The GNRC Hospitals, Guwahati, in collaboration with Bethany Hospital, Shillong, organized a free health camp for epilepsy and heart patients on Tuesday. Dr. Prasenjit Deka, Consultant Neurology, GNRC, gave a presentation on epilepsy.

Health camp

The AMRI Hospitals of Kolkata will hold a free health check-up on cardiology and nephrology on July 1 from 8.30am to 1pm at Shillong Civil Hospital.
