FKJGP deadline to Reliance

JOWAI: The FKJGP’s Khliehriat Circle has threatened to close down the Reliance Telecom Office at Ladrymbai if the company fails to imrove its service in the area.The FKJGP unit president Treibha Rymbai informed that a ten-day deadline had been issued to the Company to take action and provide good service in the area. “The network coverage of the Reliance Telecom in the area is getting worse day by day”, Rymbai added. Stolen vehicle seizes, two arrested: Umkiang police in Jaintia Hills seized a stolen vehicle (Bolero AS12G-2745) and arrested two persons on Monday. Sources informed that the police seized the vehicle during a regular checking conducted on the highway. “The number plate of the vehicle was changed to ASO1AE-4444,” police said. The arrested persons are identified as Md. Altab Hussein and Amrit Singh. The duo brought the vehicle from Shillong and it was supposed to be handed over to another party at Kalain. The duo revealed that they had come to Shillong to pick up the vehicle as per the instruction of a Imphal-based person.
