Kynjing to take oath as CIC today

Shillong: Chester Davies Kynjing will take oath on Thursday as State’s Chief Information Commissioner (CIC), an official said on Wednesday. Governor RS Mooshahary will administer the oath of office to Kynjing, who undertook voluntary retirement as Principal Secretary Home Affairs to facilitate his appointment as CIC. Kynjing will most likely have a full five-year tenure. (UNI)
