Union minister calls on Gogoi

GUWAHATI:Union minister of state for Agriculture Arun Yadav today called on Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and discussed issues relating to

the state’s development.Yadav met the chief minister at his office here and discussed ways to develop the sectors of agriculture, industry, fishery and wildlife.According to official sources, Gogoi urged upon the Union minister to sanction more funds in the development sectors.The chief minister stressed that several steps have been taken by the state government in the last 10 years to improve the plight of the poor and the farmers.
