KOHIMA:Dimapur police busted an explosives racket and seized huge quantity of explosives, contraband ganja and drugs and arrested two on Saturday said.They said a raid was conducted by East Police station personnel yesterday leading to the recovery of 430 sticks of explosive gelatin, 90 meters of cortex fuse wire, 19 detonators, 50 kg ganja and 32 capsules of banned drug from a house in Master Colony in Nagarjan area of Dimapur town near the railway tracks.A man and a woman were arrested from the house.Sources said the man and the woman, both reportedly of North Cachar Hills of Assam, and were booked under the Explosive Substances Act and NDPS Act. They were believed to having been in the illegal trade for the past 3-4 years and ship the proscribed items from Mizoram. (UNI)
