London: Victoria Beckham has given birth to a baby girl.  Victoria, 37, who already has three sons — Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight and Cruz, six — with soccer star David Beckham, welcomed their first daughter on Sunday morning at the Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, reported Daily Mail.

The star couple has named their little girl as Harper Seven Beckham, who was born by elected Caesarean.

David, 36, took to the social networking site Facebook to confirm the news of the new arrival.

“I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham. She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA.

“Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister,” wrote David.

According to reports the name of the baby depicts stories behind the couple.

“Harper is an old English name something Victoria has always liked. Seven is a very lucky happy number and the baby was born just after 7 am, in the seventh month,” said a close friend of the couple.

Reports have also claimed that Baby Harper resembles Victoria. “She is the double of Victoria as a little girl,” said a source. (PTI)
