Meghalaya Taekwondo championship culminates

SHILLONG:Meghalaya Taekwondo Association won the recently-concluded first Meghalaya Taekwondo Championship-2011, held from July 8 to 9 here. The Meghalaya Taekwondo Association won 19 gold medals alongwith 10 silver and 10 bronze medals. They were followed in the second place by K.V. School, Umroi Cantt. with six gold,six silver and five bronze respectively.

The third place went to 58 Gorkha Training Centre, Happy Valley who bagged five gold, three silver and two bronze. Meghalaya Moonlight Taekwondo Academy won the fourth place with four gold, three silver and four bronze medals.

Meghalaya Taekwondo Training School were fifth in the list.
