Los Angeles: Beyonce’s father Mathew Knowles claims that his superstar daughter fired him from the post of manager after being led into believing that he stole money from her.

The pop singer terminated Mathew from the post of the manager in March, saying there was no love lost between them and the decision was mutual.

But now, in legal papers recently filed by Mathew, he claims that Live Nation Entertainment made false accusations against him to his daughter in the hopes of coming aboard her 2011 world tour, TMZ reported Mathew claims that Live Nation told the singer that he “had stolen money from Beyonce on her most recent tour or otherwise taken funds that (he) was not entitled to,” according to the legal documents.

Beyonce’s law firm conducted an audit after Live Nation’s claims and concluded that Mathew had stolen money but the father has denied the accusations and is asking a judge to take depositions from several Live Nation employees to determine how they arrived at their conclusions. The singer’s representatives could not be reached, the website said. (PTI)
