Boxing coaching camp

SHILLONG:The Meghalaya Boxing Association will organise a boxing coaching camp for the age group of 12 to 14 years and 15-16 years in preparation for the upcoming National Boxing Championships.

The second Sub-Junior Men National Boxing Championships will be held here from 5-10 September 2011 and the 27th Junior Men National Boxing Championship will be held at Jaipur, Rajasthan.

The coaching camp will be held in two phases – the 1st phase from 15th till 27th July and the final phase from 30th July till 27th August at the Boxing Training Centre JN stadium.

The Association also announced the names of those who excelled in the recently-concluded State Annual Boxing Championships 2011 to attend the coaching camp.

The selection trial for the two championships will be held on the 6th August at the Boxing Training Centre, JN Stadium.
