Bru forum for rehab package

AIZAWL:Mizoram Bru Displaced People’s Forum (MBDPF) has urged Union Home Minister P Chidambaram to ensure rehabilitation package for 116 Bru families living outside the six relief camps in Tripura. In a memorandum to Chidambaram the forum said the families outside the camp should also be benefitted by the rehabilitation package. A press statement of the MBDPF said if the Centre agreed to provide rehabilitation and resettlement package for the displaced 80 Mizo families from Sachan range in Tripura, the Bru families living in different places in Tripura should also be similarly rehabilitated.
