FKJGP’s Mairang unit reconstituted

 SHILLONG: The FKJGP’s Mairang unit has extended its area of operation to Sohtyngkhur (Laitdom), 15km from Mairang.

In a statement issued on Thursday, FKJGP’s Mairang unit president Bobby Basaiawmoit said, “the village is a big one having around 200 households while adding that it is very important to see that they are not left out in any kind of development.

The organisation selected the office-bearers of the unit in the presence of the Rangbah Shnong of Sohtyngkhur and other members of the Dorbar Shnong. The new office-bearers include Thiwan Mawlong (president), Basil Majaw (vice-president), Kartin Majaw (general secretary), Lipson Kurbah (organising secretary), Malngiang lem Sambor (publicity secretary).
