London: After spending five decades in the industry, filmmaker Steven Spielberg is all set to thrill cine fans by making his debut appearance at the legendary Comic-Con event. The 64-year-old revered moviemaker, who has been behind some of industry’s most successful films, will discuss his new project ‘The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn’ in front of 6,000 attendees in California, Contactmusic reported. The ‘Jaws’ legend will also be the recipient of the convention’s Inkpot Award, which is given out annually to professionals in the field of pop culture. The San Diego-based comic book and movie convention has been held annually since 1970. (PTI)
Renee dating TV star John Stamos?
Los Angeles: Hollywood actress Renee Zellweger has sparked new romance rumours after being spotted on a Disneyland date with TV star John Stamos. Zellweger, 42, who split from ‘Hangover’ star Bradley Cooper in March, was seen spending the entire day at the Californian theme park with Stamos, reported Us magazine. “(They) were having a great time laughing and dancing as they walked from one ride to another. (They) looked really close and both very happy,” said a source. According to reports, Zellweger maintained a low-key affair and fans were unable to recognise her. But Stamos was well recognised and people flocked to click pictures with the ‘Full House’ star. “We actually didn’t recognise her until they were leaving, and she handed my (camera) phone back to us!”, said a fan. Zellweger and Cooper ended their two-year relationship apparently because the actor had decided to make acting his priority in life. (PTI)
‘Divorce made me a better actress’
Washington: Actress Olivia Wilde, whose nearly 10-year marriage to Italian Prince Tao Ruspoli ended in divorce earlier this year, believes that she has become a better actress since marriage split. While she admitted that the break-up has hit her hard personally, she insisted that it has done wonders for her career and her life. “It makes you a more empathetic person, and I think it’s made me a better actress. Weakness is something we don’t like to admit we have. We hold it against people, until we experience it, and then we feel more compassion for it,” she said. “David Shore, who created House, said, ‘You should get divorced every year; your acting”s never been better’!” she added. Lea Michele fine with Glee exit
London: Glee star Lea Michele has no qualms about her exit from the hit musical show, says “its just a beginning.” Ryan Murphy, who is the co-creator of the Tv series has confirmed that Michele and her class-mates Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith will not return for the fourth season. Michele, 24 and her co-stars will appear to graduate in the third season and leave the ongoing series. But the actress has no worries for the same, reported Contactmusic. “We always knew we’d graduate in real time. It’s all part of the plan and it’s all good!
