London: At 65, pop star Cher is in no mood to retire and wants to begin a new tour. Cher, who is referred to as the ‘Goddess of Pop’, is currently working on a new album and says her intentions are to perform live again.

However, she has hinted that her upcoming project, where she will be incorporating tracks from her flop 2010 movie musical ‘Burlesque’, should be a chart hit.

“Talked Tour last night at Studio! Here’s my Dilemma! I Love Doing The Show !! They’re always fun! but, the road can be lonely when you’re not on stage! “But last night we were talking ideas, stage, songs, putting in you haven’t seen the last of me) & may be recreating ‘Welcome tp Burlesque’ as it was in film on stage ! & if this CD has hits that would be fun for new show !” wrote Cher on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

The ‘Believe’ hitmaker has also encouraged fans to suggest tracks for a potential setlist.

“I would appreciate your top 10 or more fave songs ! That would be a good start!” she adds. In 2002, she declared ‘Living Proof: The Farewell Tour’ would be her last and she stepped back from the limelight after completing the run of gigs in 2005.

She later signed up for a three-year Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum theatre at Caesars Palace hotel and casino, but now that that’s a wrap, she’s itching to get back onstage in front of her fans. (PTI)
