GUWAHATI: A prime suspect in the Guwahati-Puri Expressblast, Silvia Orang, was arrested by a joint team of police and Armyfrom Baganpara in Baksa district of Assam on Friday.Police sources on Saturday said Orang, the ‘deputy c-in-c’ of the Adivasi People’s Army (APA), was arrested from a house during a raid conducted on the basis of a tip-off.The APA, a little-known tribal militant outfit engaged in extortion, had claimed responsibility for Sunday night’s blast on the railway tracks at Bhatkuchi, between Rangiya and Ghograpar railway stations, which derailed the Guwahati-Puri Express.More than 70 people were injured in the incident.
