Mid-day meal
The Deputy Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi district has informed that the food grains meant for the mid-day meal for the month of April, May and June 2011 is being released from July 11 to July 25.

As part of the platinum jubilee celebration, the Lady Keane College and Alumni Association will organise a fete to be held on the school and college premises from 10.30am to 3pm on July 23 which will entertained by a live band-COLOURS.
Training prog
The Office of the Labour Commissioner organised a training programme in the area of safety and health under the Building and other Construction Workers Act, 1996 in Shillong on Monday. The programme was attended by Principal Secretary, Labour Department, NS Samant, Secretary Labour Department, KL Tariang and 26 officers from Labour, PWD, PHE, MGCC, Urban Affairs and Chief Inspector of Boiler and Factories Department.
Award function
As part of the International Year of Chemistry 2011 and 70 years of the Department of St Anthony’s College, an Inter College Quiz Competition was organised by the college wherein the prize distribution function will be held on Wednesday on the college premises which will attended by State Information and Public Relation Minister, AT Mondal.
