GUWAHATI:Cotton College, premiere educational institution of Assam has been renamed as a state university. A resolution to this effect was passed in the state assembly on Wednesday. The bill was tabled by state Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma and passed unaniomously. (PTI)
