SHILLONG: The Akashvani and Doordarshan Administrative Staff Association on Thursday staged a relay hunger strike in Shillong in support of their 8-point charter of demand.
The agitating staff also threatened to intensify their agitation if the Prasar Bharati failed to stop discrimination against them.
Speaking to media persons Lary P Warjri, the convenor of Sanyukta Sanghrashsamiti (SSS) said Prasar Bharati has not finalised their service conditions
The SSS has also threatened to boycott duties across the country on August 9.
