Asia Cup rescheduled

Patiala: The Asia Cup has been rescheduled to avoid conflict with the ODI tri-series in Australia that includes India and Sri Lanka, according to the Asian Cricket Council.

The tournament was originally planned for March 1 in Dhaka, but looking at the forthcoming tri-series in Australia which ends on March 8, the tournament will now be played from March 12 next year.

It will be the 11th edition of the tournament which has been mired in uncertainties as the four teams India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh have been facing jam-packed schedule. (UNI)
