PATNA:The police have registered a case against unknown persons for creating a fake website of the Patna High Court and cheating people by taking money for providing jobs there, a police official said on Sunday. The owners of the website,’www.highcourtpatna.co.in’, had advertised about 175 vacant posts of class IV employees and defrauded job seekers of their money, City Superintendent of Police Shivdeep Lande said. Praveen Goswami, a native of Samastipur district, on July 16 complained to the police that he had seen the advertisements in the website, contacted them and paid Rs 7,000 to a man who identified himself as Vaidnath Goswami.(PTI)
