Villagers to prevent entry of militants

Imphal: Villagers of an interior village in Imphal West district of Manipur have decided not to allow any outsider at their place after 8 pm, with immediate effect.

The decision was taken during a meeting between Khaidem Village Golden Youth Club (KVGYC) members and village elders on July 22 following frequent attacks by suspected militants, a spokesman of the club said on Tuesday. (PTI)
