Kohima: The Assam Rifles personnel have apprehended two NSCN (K) cadres and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession.
According to official sources here on Thursday, the troops of 24 Assam Rifles, while conducting a routine Motor Vehicle Check Points (MVCP) at New Showuba area under Dimapur on Wednesday, apprehended the NSCN (K) cadres from Kehoi Camp in Dimapur district.
One AK 56 rifle with two magazines and 60 rounds of live ammunition were recovered from their possession.
The arrested were produced at the East Police Station and a case was registered against them. (Agencies)
