Assam govt acts on k-oil blasts incidents

 Guwahati: Responding to reported incidents of explosions of kerosene oil lamps, stoves etc. in different parts of the state especially in Dhubri district, that have so far claimed three lives and injured over 20 persons, Assam government on Thursday directed all the Deputy Commissioners of districts and SDO (Civil) to collect the blue dyed PDS subsidised kerosene oil samples from sensitive areas and depots and send the same independently to the Forensic Laboratory at Guwahati for investigation and report to ensure that no loss of life or property occurs.

The government directed the district authorities to take all preventive and precautionary steps to ensure safety of the consumers.
