SHILLONG: As many as 16 mobile tower batteries and copper wires have been seized from one Shah Jahan Ali, driver of a Sumo vehicle. Police had to chase the vehicle (ML 05 E 3225) from IGP Point to Mawlai before nabbing the culprit, recently. A source from Sadar Police Station said the person was taking the materials to Guwahati.
