In order to mark the 2nd Death Anniversary of Late Mainul Haque Barbhuiya, a noted painter and faculty member of Department of Cultural and Creative Studies, NEHU, the Health Centre of the university is organising a three-day programme which includes Awareness Talk and Interactive Session on prevention of cancer cervix and a two-day Pap Smear Screening Camp

The War-Jaintia Youth Social Organisation (WJYSO) Shillong, will organise a felicitation award for the students of War-Jaintia community who passed out during the year 2010-2011. The applicants may apply along with their documents on or before the 10th September 2011.
