 SHILLONG: In the bid to streamline the administration, the State Government on Monday installed a video conferencing system in the Secretariat.

The new video conferencing system installed in the Committee room number 1 of the secretariat will help ministers in interacting with district level officers on any important issue. Talking to journalists here on Monday about the new system, Chief Minister Mukul Sangma said that the system will help the Government in regular monitoring of programmes and addressing the issues on time.“ This system will enable us to respond to a situation at the earliest.” Sangma added
