Craig hates social networking sites
London: James Bond star Daniel Craig refuses to join a social networking websites because he’s convinced no one should share everything about their life online. The 43-year-old says he would never sign up to Facebook or Twitter to tell all about his private affairs – and he’s amused by those who post mundane details about their lives on the internet, reported Daily Star. “I am not on Facebook. And I’m not on Twitter either… ‘Woke up this morning, had an egg’? What relevance is that to anyone? Social networking? Just call each other up and go to the pub and have a drink. “There’s some talk of a new class-system paradigm – that, in future, the world will be divided between those who ‘get’ social networking and those who don’t,” Craig said. The actor says he sometimes reads about himself online but logs off whenever he comes across harsh criticism. “The truth is that I mistakenly go online occasionally and Google my name… It’s worse than smoking crack. And, oh man, the hating on the internet… It’s like there’s a bunch of sociopaths out there who want to go out and rip you to pieces,” he said. (PTI)

‘Changing dirty nappies not fun’
London: Singer Ricky Martin says he enjoys being a father to two-year-old twins Matteo and Valentino, but hates changing their nappies. “I’ve always wanted to be a father. I knew it was something I wanted in my life. One day, I typed ‘surrogacy’ into the computer and started researching. Now I have twin boys who are the loves of my life,” he told Australia’s Daily Telegraph. “Every decision I make is based on my children. They teach me different things every day, such as the beauty in simplicity. But I do hate changing dirty nappies; it’s not fun at all,” he added. The 39-year-old gay singer says after becoming a father he has become more selfless, reports femalefirst.co.uk. “Being a father, you come to know yourself. You have no choice but to become less selfish as it’s not about you anymore. But you also have to feel good about yourself in order to set a good example. Fatherhood has made me work on myself,” he said. Martin’s sons – Matteo and Valentino – were born via a surrogate mother in August 2008. (IANS)
