Four remanded to judicial custody

 JOWAI: The Court of the First Class Magistrate, Khliehriat Civil Sub-division has on Wednesday remanded four Nepali members of the Mool Pravah Akhil Bharati Nepali Ekta Samaj (MPBNES) to 14 -day judicial custody.

The four members were arrested on Tuesday by Ladrymbai Police for allegedly forging the signature of one Salem Swer in the agreement for the construction of the Nepali Community Hall at Ladrymbai Khliehdupon in Jaintia Hills.The Rangbah Shnong, Ladrymbai Khliehdupon had issued the NOC to the these men for construction of the Nepali Community Hall.

NGOs including, the KSU-Khliehriat Circle, AJYWO and JYF have summoned the Rangbah Shnong and all the village elders of Ladrymbai Khliehdupon on Saturday to explain about the issuance of NOC to the Nepali Ekta Samaj.
