Meet to review vehicle tax cut

SHILLONG: The KSU, JSU and EKHLTWA, which has been protesting the State Government’s arbitrary move to hike vehicular taxes, would hold a joint meeting next week to review the Government’s latest decision to slash the revised rates of Motor Vehicles Tax and the rates of Composite Tax on tourist vehicles by 25 per cent. KSU general secretary Hamlet Dohling on Wednesday said the three organisations would decide on their future course of action at the joint meeting to be held next week.
