Civic Action Programme by CRPF

 SHILLONG: To facilitate the under privileged people of the state , para-military forces of the 67 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will undertake the Civic Action Programme (CAP) during 2010-2011.

Disclosing this at a press conference here at the CRPF Camp at Polo on Tuesday, the commandant of the 67 Bn CRPF, Erdan Ekka informed that this year the central government has sanctioned Rs 5 lakhs for undertaking the Civic Action Programme for the year 2010-2011.

“Through this programme, we will be able not only to assist the state administration in maintaining law and order but also to serve the people in need”, said Ekka.
