London: R&B star Sean Kingston was given a standing ovation at the Teen Choice Awards in one of his first public appearances since a jet ski accident left him fighting for life.

The ‘Beautiful Girls hitmaker took to the stage amid cheers from the audience and thanked fans for their love and support during his recovery, Daily Express reported.

“I will never forget all your thoughts and prayers,” Kingston said, presenting friend Justin Bieber with the Choice Male Artist award. Kingston, 21, was knocked unconscious when he crashed his water vehicle into a bridge near his home in Miami last month. He spent almost a month in hospital undergoing surgery and recovering from his injuries. (PTI)
