CRPF helps displaced people

 TURA: The 120 battalion of the CRPF deployed in Garo Hills organized a daylong civic action to distribute various items for the affected people of this year’s ethnic conflict affecting both the Rabhas and the Garos.

The battalion handed over sewing machines to thirty needy families of Resubelpara area of both the Garo and Rabha communities. The battalion also donated computers, library books with bookshelves, aquaguard water purification sets and musical instruments to eight needy local schools in the area.
