Maddox Jolie-Pitt lands first film role
London: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s eldest child Maddox has reportedly landed his first movie.
The 10-year-old adopted son of the couple is set to take the lead role in Battling Boy, a movie based on a graphic novel that is being produced by the actor’s Plan B company.
“The film is based on a graphic novel about the young son of a god who leaves his mountain-top home to fight monsters. “It’s being produced by Brad’s Plan B production company.
Maddox lives, eats and breathes movies and comic books, so Brad and Angelina thought he would be perfect for the starring role,” a source said. Jolie has previously praised Maddox – the eldest of the six children as a “real intellectual”.
“Maddox is a real intellectual, which I can take no credit for genetically. He’s great at school, great at history. He feels like he could be a writer or travel the world and learn about places and things,” Jolie said. (PTI)
I would have rejected Lady Gaga: Cowell
London: Music mogul Simon Cowell says he would not have hesitated in throwing out Lady Gaga if the pop star had auditioned for American Idol.
Cowell, who has given Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks and Carrie Underwood their big breaks on Idol, has stunned fans by confessing that he would not have appreciated Gaga if she had showed up in one of her crazy costumes, reported Daily Star.
“She would have been thrown out within 10 seconds. It would have been one of the kooky auditions,” he said.
But Cowell admits the ‘Judas’ hitmaker’s success has made him think twice before dismissing talent. “Now you have to be more open-minded and embrace that level of expression. You hope to God you can find someone like her,” he added. (PTI)
