DDK telecast
The Shillong Doordarshan Kendra will telecast ‘Voices of Praise’-a gospel musical concert recorded on August 10th at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Arts and Culture on Sunday, 21st August from 4 pm to 6.30 pm.
Achievement
Students of St Edmund’s College from the Department of Social Work achieved first and second prize in the Inter College Quiz Competition, “Talk AIDS” organised by the Meghalaya AIDS Control Society. Nadeen Pakyntein and MebadashishaWarjri won the 1st prize while Anupriya Rynjah and Ricadonna Wanniang bagged the 2nd prize.
Janmashtami
Janmashtami Utsav will be celebrated at Shree Shree Basudev Mandir, Jail Road from August 21 to 22.
