Suspected LeT activists held

Guwahati: Three suspected Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) operatives were arrested from Jalukbari area of Assam’s main city Guwahati on Sunday, police said on Monday. The trio was arrested from a bus, while on way from Gauripur in Dhubri district to Guwahati. They were on way to Manipur and neighbouring countires like Myanmar and Nepal. Though police suspected LeT links, the possibility of the arrested persons’ involvement in an international smuggling racket was also being probed. (UNI)
