The National School of Drama, New Delhi and SOS Children Village, Shillong will screen a bi-lingual play “Invention of Shoe” written and directed by Laique Hussain at Deba Kumar Das Hall at Bishnupur at 5pm on August 28.
Convocation
The Martin Luther Christian University will organise its Fourth Convocation at U Soso Tham Auditorium at 4pm on August 29. The function will be attended by Chief Advisor to the government of Meghalaya, DD Lapang as the chief guest
Elected member
Prof P M Passah was elected member of the National executive Committee of the Indian Economic Association for 2011 from Meghalaya in the recent election held at Chandigarh Punjab University of the Association.
