The Meghalaya AIDS Control Society in collaboration with Voluntary Health Association of Meghalaya will organise a one-day state-level training of trainers on Mainstreaming HIV for NGOs and CSOs of Meghalaya at Shillong Club on August 26.

The Central Research Unit (Tribal) for Homoeopathy at Dhankheti under Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, Department of AYUSH-government of India will conduct a free homoeopathy medical camp at Dorbar Hall Mawkasiang from 10am on August 27.
Debate
The Youth Hostels Association is organising an inter-school debate on the affect of implementation of Lok Pal Bill on the premises of Youth Hostel, Shillong at 1pm on Saturday. Parliamentary Secretary (In-Charge of Health Services and Tourism) will be the chief guest.

Sports Day
On the occasion of National Sports Day, the State Sports and Youth Affairs Department is organising a function to inaugurate the tennis complex and also to felicitate the medal winners for the achievements in various national and regional Tournaments at the JN Sports Complex at Polo Ground at 3pm on August 29. Deputy Chief Minister In-Charge of Sports and Youth Affairs, B M Lanong will be present as the chief guest.
