Los Angeles: Troubled star Lindsay Lohan’s mother, Dina, is seeking more than USD 5 million of investments for an upcoming drug film.

Dina, who owns the production company Defiant Pictures, is working on a new drama called ‘Growing Defiant’ – which is described as the “story of three life long friends from upper middle class Long Island, who delve into the world of heroin.” Dina, who hopes to enroll stars like Selena Gomez, Amamda Seyfried and Dakota Fanning for the upcoming project, is seeking the huge investments, reported TMZ online. According to the business plan, Dina also aspires to include other stars like – Michael Cera, James Gandolfini, Susan Sarandon, Tina Fey, Hayden Panettiere, Emma Stone, Mila Kunis – and Michael Lohan Jr in the movie.

However, there is an asterisk at the bottom of the plan, which reads, “The cast listed above is a suggested cast list only. Michael Lohan is the only cast member who has been signed.” Of the USD 5.28 million that Dina is seeking, she’s allocated USD 1.1 million for actors’ fees. (PTI)
